NS east of Manassas VA

Does NS operate anything east of Manassas anymore now that the coal plant in Alexandria is closed.

They still have a small yard in Alexandria- I believe they serve Virginia Asphalt as well as other customers.

There are a few locals that serve the Washington Post in Springfield, and as mentioned, the asphalt plant in Alexandria. In addition there is the ethanol transfer facility at the old Van Dorn yard.....

Are they weekday jobs or 7 day a week?

I'd like to get out to Mananas for some pictures, trying to see what to expect on weekdays vs weekends. I know about VRE.
