On 06-20-2012 at 1105, D-3 gave POED a speedo on all tracks between Rollstone and MP F-468 of 25 MPH effective 1130. When asked, the TOM said it was for heat. I had been running some errands, so mebbe D-2 did for his territory, as well, and I missed it. Given the forecast, there probably be another tomorrow.

Apparently in effect in D-1 as well. PORU by MP 190 at 1330 at about 15 mph. Usually in effect whn\en
temps exceed 85f.

This would apply to all CWR territory. I keep forgetting that parts of District 1 east of Mountain Junction are now part of that territory!

So, I take it that this means it's so hot that the crew is allowed to wear skimpy bathing suits?
Dear god man what is wrong with you. Have you seen some of the crews?

Although it would be nice to be able to run with the doors open...

Better that it be a Speedo than a thong, I suppose...

Must be nice to see the foreign run-through power show up this time of year, for the lucky few who get it. I suspect all those wide cabs are air conditioned, no?

Most. Every once and awhile you'll get one that's busted though. That's a real let down.
