Not to be picky but all reports indicate this is in Chelmsford not Westford.

However based on past developments I'm sure the Town of Westford is very interested in what's going on.

Wicked Local wrote:At approximately 3 a.m., the Chelmsford police received a report from Pan Am Railways that a train had been derailed in the area of School Street and Meadowbrook Road.

Upon arrival, police and fire learned that four cars from a 66-car train had come off the tracks, blocking School Street and Meadowbrook Road.

No injuries were reported. Pan Am Railways worked through the night repairing the damaged tracks and removing the derailed cars. Work will continue throughout today. School Street and Meadowbrook Road were temporarily closed, but are now open to through traffic.
