  • What happend to the B&M hoppers?

What ever happened to the tons of B&M cement hoppers and the PS3 hoppers I believe they are called, but any info will help!

Most, if not all of the 5200 series cars went to Railcar Leasing Specialists under the AMIX reporting marks.
However, some are now remarked AEQX....ATEL Equipment Corporation...

I have photo's of a string of them at NMJ still in BM blue from back in 2011 still in BM reporting marks at that time. Did they keep some or where they sold after that date?

All of those were sold, most as said went to AMIX marks, sand service in the fracking fields I believe.

The whole block of long stored B&m cars at NMJ went out on 1 or 2 trains. It was cool to see them on the road after years of sitting!

I saw one west bound a month or so ago on the tail of a POED,,, had been ages since I had seen one, I didn't notice what the reporting marks were though !
