There are some bad pilings on the Auburn end and so the bridge has a little lean to it because of the footing, supposedly anyway.

Wednesday, 4:10 pm, PORU, I believe, heading east past Mountain Branch on track 1, with 8 loaded ballast hoppers, 20 empty CICX low gons, lots of oil/propane cars (blue, black, couldn't get a count-20+/- maybe) some boxcars.

That would be POWA. There have been several of those blue LP cars lately, I suspect Irving picked up lease on some new cars...

The CIGX gons are coming in numbers, they are all billed to Orrington, ME and will be uses to haul dirty dirt from the Penobscot when they do more site remediation at the former (name escapes me now) Chemical Company in Orrington. I believe there are around 25 east of Rigby at the moment, plus the 20 you saw. I am surprised we've not seen any covers for them, they must plan on using shrink wrapping.

Confirmed that the bridge deck on the Androscoggin River was the only issue. The broken deck timbers were the reason it appeared to be leaning. Those have all been replaced and the bridge should be good for 25 MPH now.

Thats great news! A seriously injured bridge could really cause some big issues.

The one thing different this time, is a recurring work schedule. They have made a significant appearance in D1 each year since 2012. I'm not saying the 10's won't pop back up in March, they did this spring, but they've been working to settle those back out. I don't doubt more 10's in 6 months, but it seems like they are at least making an effort to hold onto some of their gains.

Spotted several of the blue colored LPG TANK cars recently, on NBSR main line trains in New Brunswick.

I was sent a picture of a washout in Leeds, Me showing a complete loss of roadbed 25 feet t deep and probably 30 wide. The tracks are suspended in the air. I don't know if this is on the Rumford branch but I think so.

Any chance you can post the picture here, or post a link to it?

The flooding yesterday in Maine was pretty bad, especially in southern Maine.

This is how Portland looked yesterday:
