When I stopped by the Framingham T station this AM, I noticed that CSX had removed the old signal stand and some other maintenance debris from the triangle of land bordered by the "long" track, the "station track", and the T station itself. Plus there was a front loader grading the land. Is this part of a new CSX campaign to clean up Framingham? It seems late in the season to start construction. The area would be a natural place for expanding Framingham T station parking IF CSX would permit commuters to cross the station track to get in and out. Anyone know what's happening here?
