I was checking out the Worcester yard Friday around 1330 caught Amtrak 449 - 11 leaving Worcester and less than 5 minutes later a CSX Ballast train o21-11, departed on track 1 following Amtrak 449. unknown destination, Q422 was on track 2 2 pulling into the MBCR track to shove back to the P&W. Sorry no Engine numbers as I was not in a position to see them, as I was caught off guard with the Ballast train. I was trying to catch Q422.

Where would the Ballast train come from? where do they load Ballast, the train had at least 10 cars, and the engines where facing west with a marker on the rear.

I recall the quarry is (?) Lanes Quarry in/near Westfield.
