MBI Conrail Book Question

Hello,

In the MBI book, "Conrail" by Brian Solomon and Tim Doherty, I am trying to figure out where the location is in Buffalo on page 8. The photo caption reads: "Penn Central westward intermodal train TV-5 rolls through Buffalo on January 26th, 1973."

Thanks in advance for any help---this one has stumped me for some time.

Looks like westbound on the Compromise near Exchange St. before track rationalization and urban renewal.

So that grade crossing is no longer there, I assume?

EDIT--Crossing is there........I did a search on "Google Maps" and also used the street view feature.
