I know that they layover in Queens after arriving in our yard from Oak Point early in the morning; usually around 3:00 am. Usually the same crew every time; whole trip. They report back to Fresh Pond Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon at about 3:30-4:00 for their return to Saratoga. They go north to Oak Point, pick up traffic, run around their train and depart. They must make a reverse move at Oak Point to run onto the Oak Point link that runs parallel to the Harlem River (next to Yankee Stadium) and onto the Metro-North Hudson Line at CP-5? Provided they do not miss the slot, straight shot up to Albany and across Hudson River (on the CSX-Amtrak route) to Schenectady where the line intersects with the D&H to Saratoga.
