I'm entering semi-retirement, and with a little more time now available, would like to explore the CPR's isolated main line "over the shield" in Northern Ontario. I'm particularly interested in the area around the division point at Chapleau, which wasn't even accesible by road when I was growing up. Would appreciate any input from members more familar with the area. Thanks!
