I decided to head out yesterday but again I'm gonna head out today too, had to work yesterday from 9 till 3 so I got a good chance when I left the house to find 105 stopped for his signal (45-2) to go up north. After walking east, he started to calling CP RTC MacTier Sub for his light which he gets a minute in a half later...

1. Shot of 105 with CP AC4400 8641 & 9643 powering it

2. Managed to go outside on my last 15 min break at work from Loblaws...hear the RTC talk to 153 which he had the light. CP AC4400 9650 & CP SD40-2F 9024 power 153 with 4500 ft of intermodal with lime stone slurry mixed in.

3. After finishing work I walk home but overheard the scanner again about the T22's wanting to get his light, CP RTC Galt Sub denies him of the light till the GO Train clears West Toronto, and that CP RTC MacTier Sub gets his light lined at West Toronto and Howland. T22's get going and get a clear to medium at 46-2 at Barlett Ave. St. L&H GP9u 8245, CP SD40-2 6026 & CP SD40-2 5971 power this 52 car 2900 ft train to Toronto Yard.

4. Train 166 heads west on the North Track and stops in Lambton Yard for a lift of cars, CP SD40-2 5806, SOO Line SD60 6033 & CP SD40-2 5963 was his power.

5. While at West Toronto I didn't shoot any GO Trains, thats for tomorrow. Anyways CP's Galt Sub detector was busy counting axles for the GO and CP Trains, so it goes like this for the GO's, CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub North Track Temperature minus three degrees total axles 44 no alarms.....CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub North Track Temperature minus three degrees total axles 44 no alarms.....message complete detector out. I decided to show train 83, Toronto to Sarnia, with F40PH-2 6404 for power...

6. Another shot of train 83 going up the Weston Sub.

7. Stayed at the railway crossing for a bit and then heard the detector go off...CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees total axles 312 no alarms.....CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees total axles 312 no alarms...message complete detector out.... and thought hmmmm eastbound must be on the approach and sure was...light was green on the south track for him, SOO Line SD60 6003 and another SD60 lead a 75 car train eastbound.

8. After that I went home, but heard CP RTC MacTier talk to 115 which will so be out in 2 hours time, so I went home and heard em again about another train to be held at Howland. What I didn't know was a southbound CN Freight train was on the Newmarket Sub clearing the diamond at Davenport. After clearing he shows up with CP SD40-2F 9011 leading 3 other sisters and 92 cars westbound (392 axles)

9. After the westbound cleared the signal on the south turned from red to green for an eastbound. Then this showed up on the scanner....CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees system not repeat system not working....CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees system not repeat system not working...message complete detector out and I thought dang whats going on. A red light popped up on the north and a westbound was soon converging onto the scene with 2 AC's leading a short train.

10. Then again the Galt Sub detector went off again with the same message but repeated 3 times (the 3rd was different)...CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees system not repeat system not working....CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub South Track Temperature minus 1 degrees system not repeat system not working... CP Detector Mile 7.4 Galt Sub North Track Temperature minus 1 degrees total axles 392 no alarms message complete detector out, after listening to that again the eastbound mixed freight went by with a SOO Line SD60 and a CP SD40-2 powering the train and towing a dead GP9u.(didn't get the roadnumbers)
