CN to sell Mississippi trackage

CN will be selling 252 miles of line in Mississippi to a subsidiary of A&K. Service will be preserved for two years on most of the lines. (after that..........three guesses!)

who is V & S railwayllc? they are going to operate the lines in mississippi that the cn railroad sold. what size railroad is this and do they have a web site?

There is nothing on the line between Canton Miss and a few industries just outside of Johnston Yd in Memphis. There's a few switches that load pine tree trunks onto pole cars. These could easily be rubbertired to a teamtrack or transload facility on the Yazoo Main or nearby KC trackage.
