Is Burlington Northern Santa Fe GP38-2 2099 on the roster and where is it usually assigned? What is this unit's heritige and when was it built? When was Great Northern 427 built and is it a F45? (This probably is not the best place to ask about Great Northern units.) What was Great Northern 427's Burlington Northern number and what was its fate?

BNSF 2099 is the former BN 2099. This GP38-2 was built in November 1974 as EMD order #74647-12. Don't know the current assignment of this unit.

GN 427 was the first F45 on Great Northern. Its EMD order number was 7151-1, builder # 34736 and it was built in May 1969. This unit became BN 6600 and was retired 6/17/84 and sold for scrap to Schnitzer Steel in 7/84.
