I'm tweaking my live RR radio feed and for the life of me I can not find a list of frequencies for MMA.

Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Ian

This is an old listing of the BAR frequencies. Whether the MM&A just changed the license or not, I do not know...

160.320 Bangor & Aroostook Auxiliary?
160.440 Bangor & Aroostook Yard & Backup Road
160.530 Bangor & Aroostook Yard?
160.680 Bangor & Aroostook Road
160.740 Bangor & Aroostook MOW
160.920 Bangor & Aroostook Northend MOW

Remembering off the top of my head, 160.440 is definately still used, and I'm pretty sure 160.680 is still the main frequency (if I remember right, its the main dispatch channel on the CSX Boston line as well).

I've found that just putting in all the AAR frequencies into the scanner picks up everything. The challenging part is figuring out which road is talking.

I've found that just putting in all the AAR frequencies into the scanner picks up everything and works best for me. The challenging part (and more interesting part) is figuring out which road is talking.

This is one of many channels they use, but is not the Main Dispatch for the Boston Line. The majority of radio traffic is on 160.8000, When the NA or NB dispatch needs to carry out a in depth coversation they go to the assigned channel of either 160.560 for NB and 160.680 for NA.

Does this RR have any kind of passenger service? I've been wanting to go into the N.E. area to railfan and to ride.

Not at this point in time, as far as I'm aware. It could happen in the future. I believe MMA has hosted some sort of excursion train in the past... with Budd cars, I think?

The Orford Express...

Excursions tours on two Budd cars, Sherbrooke up to Magog. Maybe elsewhere in the Eastern township in Quebec. On weekends in the summer, and all week long in the fall foliage season...

Here's a pic I took a few weeks ago: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 45&nseq=11

There's a list in the MM&A Yahoo group.
In summary:
BAR
Ch 1 160.440 (Dispatcher, Service Center)
Ch 2 160.920 (repeater output)
Ch 3 160.680 (Mainline Dispatcher)
Ch 4 160.740 (repeater output)
Ch 5 160.920 (MOFW)
CDAC
CP Ch 14 161.175 (repeater output)
CP Ch 13 161.175 (MOFW)
CP Ch 3 160.425/161.475 (Point/train call-in)
CP Ch 4 161.115 (Mainline Dispatcher)
QSR
CP Ch 1 161.475 (Yard)
CP Ch 19 161.505 (MOFW)
CP Ch 20 161.505 (repeater output)
Basically, it seems the radio channel assignments are still divided among the former Iron Road components, so they would apply on the former territories, example, CDAC on the Moosehead Sub, and QSR on the Sherbrooke Sub.
My limited esperience is that the Dispatcher uses 161.115 on the Moosehead Sub., and 160.680 on the BAR.
