I would assume that they have, and that either they took care of it, or MMA never needed to do any real engine work on them (which would be my guess, B23-7s are good engines, and Santa Fe and BNSF had overhauled them).

Given that fact, they did get their money's worth out of them, especially towards the end when they were being band-aided back together.Until one of those band-aid repairs set in play a series of events that cost the railroad - and 47 PQ citizens - everything.
