Unfortunately, that's the reality of being a shortline that's rapidly growing business. And the GP38-3 program hasn't been very successful, with only four on the property after well over a year, and issues with them.

It's nice seeing CMQ growing as fast as it is with the number of mills closing at the same time. They have become a big player up there in no time. And it is sad that the GP38-3 are so far behind. Guessing a lot of that had to do with them moving from CAD to AMP. Still there are three or four more of them on the way though. Not sure on the exact number because I have not been able to find out the history on 3817.

It's nice to see CMQ going after everything they can from the big players to the little guys. Note logs being shipped on the Seaport Branch and at least 15 grain cars they just pick up to ship grain from Northern Maine. Unlike the predecessors which looked at the mills and Irvine for the there business.

I am just speculating on this part, but hopefully that means eather some more lease power is coming soon or maybe 9004 or 9022 or both will be back up and running soon.Well some good news. 9022 was on job 1 yesterday and is running. Bet the boys at Derby are glad to have it out of the shop. Let hope it say out of the shop for some time sence it may only the second time its run on a revenue train for CMQ sence it arrived.
