One more weekend to go till the official end of running for the year... this past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting for two days of Santa Trains. If theres one thing that makes all the sweat, work, and grease worthwhile... its these two weekends...

I do not mean to be rude and I hope the post is not read that way.

When was that ALCo (S2?) last repainted? Is Santa giving the bird in this picture?

No worries.. you arent being rude... the Alco S1 0954 hasnt been repainted in a while... its our backup loco and really only gets used during the holidays mostly. I believe its next on our list for painting... one of those things that theres ALWAYS things to do... and not enough bodies to fill the void of actually doing them.

The funny part of the flipping the bird is that our "other" santa is running in that Housy... so it was a playful gesture that no one but he, I, and the crew of the Housy could see...
