Hello everyone,

This was posted under Fallen Flag RR's but didn't attract much attention, so we'll try here.

If you are a mileage collector or just someone who lives in the great northwest or plans on visiting - keep reading!

Hidden away in the sparsely populated corner of the southwestern Washington, just across the river from Oregon is where the recreation of a precious historic artifact of the American West is being revived.

Its equipment and structures will duplicate those of the past. The vast landscape it will pass through exists today as though it has been frozen in time a hundred years ago.

The new 36" narrow gauge Clam Shell Railroad will bring history back to life. It will expand what once was only 35 miles to over 200 miles of right of way with new/old time steam powered passenger trains. A place for rail fans, those born to late, a place where dinner trains run and hand car races are held. and guest engineers can operate real steam locomotives, and much much more, a place that will offer fun filled adventures that will thrill the entire family.

More to come
