On the saterdays of May 8th and 15th there will be a cleanup and repainting of BEDT 16. On the 8th we will be scraping and then priming the locomotive, and on the 22 we will be repainting the 16. Followed by some touch ups in the weeks after as in lettering and trim.
Remember to bring hard hats, gloves, facemasks and protective eye glasses. If you do not have a hard hat it will be provided.
Mike Arnold
BEDT 16 Project Manager.

Also in regards to the above post, current membership in the Railroad Museum of Long Island is required due to insurance issues. Those who are not members and wish to work may bring payment that day and sign up. Applications are available in the gift shop and payment can be made by check, money order, cash or credit card.

A more detailed post of membership amounts is on another thread under this museum forum.
