West Sweden, year 1867, private railway from Uddevalla to Herrljunga was constructed. Initially as narrow gauge, but in the beginning of 20th century in was broaden to normal 1435 mm.
September 2017, swedish railway museum BJs, was running steam locomotives along the UVHJ-line to celebrate its 150 years of existence. We did som filming, most of it is self speaking and added with english subtitles.
Cab ride with No.10 departure from station of Uddevalla going uphill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPcMQ47mWRE
We used our BJ No.130, a swedish B3-class loco built in 1911, and fellow club JÅÅJ's DJ No.10, a H3-class loco from 1914. While the B3 i quite similar to other swedish steam locos, the H3-class is one of a kind these days. So everytime we run it, it is an extra special moment.
Uddevalla is a port town and railway from here begins with a steep climbing for 10 km, where locomotives and crew work hard. The sound is incredible!

I hope you enjoy
