Does anyone know what railroad museums have cars from the CNS&M? Also, why were only a handfull saved? When reading my NORTH SHORE LINE MEMORIES book, I was saddened when I realized that most of the cars became razor blades and frying pans.

Are you talking about the interurban electric cars? If so I know several exist, IRM has many. Seashore has Dining car 415, passenger cars 755 & 420.

The 354 is a lightweight city car from the North Shore that was built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1928. I believe it was the only one preserved. Does anyone know what museum has car 420?

420 is preserved at Seashore in Maine. I rode it two weekends ago. A group of people from NY came up and got the car running after it sat dormant for some time. It was nice to ride that car.
