How is the running qualities of the IHC GG-1 loco?
I understand the current version is an improved one.

Planning to use the GG-1 underframe for kitbashing a New Haven EP-3 and any input of the motor and truck running qualities are appreciated.

Also, does anyone have a good picture of the underframe without the shell mounted? I'd like to at least visually judge if it is possible to squeeze the GG-1 frame in to a scratchbuilt EP-3 shell..

Thanks in advance,
