Yeah there's the MIT Model RR Club located right there In Cambridge in the MIT Museum Building, They usually meet on wed evenings and saturday nights. there's also the South Shore Model RR Club located in Hingham about 15 miles to the south of downtown. There located in an old restored warehouse in Bear Creek Park. Its a decent HO scale layout in progress.

That should be enough to get started!

The BSSME (Bay State Society of Model Engineers) is located 758 South Street in Roslindale Square, opposite the Roslindale Village stop on the Needham commuter line. Also the 35, 36, 37 & 51 bus routes from Forest Hills stop about 200 feet from their location.

This is a members only club, but they have an annual open house which is open to the public.

Phone is listed in the phone book as (617)327-4341.
