Is the body held in place by the coupler screws or are there tabs under the trucks? I saw one article where the screws held the body and another that says there are hidden tabs.

The Kato design is held together with tabs to the cast frame,you might have to pull the couplers off if using KD coupler boxes
Should separate as Body shell,Walkways and handrails,From the cast underframe.
