While this ABC Sunday "Prime Time Soap" with its Bakken Crude storyline, would reference railroads, it does not.
Maybe just as well considering the typical Soap plot of double cross, duplicity, and skullduggery. One's understand of the industry and the railroad's role in handling crude will not be enhanced.
The series is filmed in Utah. The Ogden train station (now a mixed use commercial facility) is a stageprop for a worker camp. The fictional town of Rock Springs is actually 25th St in Ogden.
