How long does a copyright last - forever? 50 years? I've got a copy of an old book on railroading which I think would be of interest today. It was printed in the 40's. The publisher is still in business but I doubt they'd be interested, probably would not sell THAT many copies. Still I suppose that's the place to start.

Any suggestions on how to make this book available again?
