Just read that there was a farewell to LV steam excursion in 1975 using ex CPR 972 and ex FEC 148. Where did this trip go from and to? Were there any other excursions on the LV besides the Q&E ones?

I think I might know the run you are talking about. My recollection was that it was around the Lehigh gorge area. I do know that the roadforeman, Vic Cole ran it and did several other steam engineering during this time.

Trip ran from Bethlehem to South Plainfield and return. I have some super 8 of the departure from Bethlehem along with a freight in each direction somewhere at my parents house.
