The Tilcon stone train has restarted; anyone along the Danbury branch ever get out to see it? I'm curious as to how they switch from the NH main line to the branch (I don't believe there's a wye at SoNo).

Nope, no wye at SoNo, and never has been-- wouldn't be possible because of the proximity of the junction to the Norwalk River bridge.

What days/times does this come through? I'm up in Ridgefield fairly frequently, would love to get a look at it attacking the hill out of Branchville, even if I couldn't get a decent nightime photo.

CT-2 follows 1890/6870 up the branch when it does run. Usually after 1890/6870 is cleared up in the yard, CT-2 follows about 20 minutes later.

Has CT2 started this year yet?
Live right near the main line and Danbury branch
And wasn't sure if it was running yet
Usually hear it about 5-10 minutes after 1890 clears up to Wilt

CT-2X did run last Friday night, but without stone. Hopefully the tracks at the Tilcon plant in Danbury will be finished soon as apparently they were in really bad condition. Anyway, this is my friend's video of CT-2X from last Friday:

It was just after 4001-4002-4003-4004 arrived
2 of them where on one end and one on other
4003 was trailing and 4001-3907 was leading

It looked like on Fri night they were heading towards CP 500 to drop off Metro Norths blue MofW stone hoppers for interchange to MN. This is right at start of the Waterbury branch north of the wye tail...

That's what I said when I saw it last year
I can hear it from near Cross street to Cannondale station if wind blows right

How much paperwork is required for Providence and Worcester to move NYC3 from Bethel, Connecticut to New Haven
I'm sure they could move the DRM extra equipment to Stamford with no problems
