In Worcester, a few before 1300, turned left from Hammond St. onto Southbridge St., and on the tracks to left before the CSXT overhead bridge, a Worcester FD partially-extended tower was pouring water onto what was probably a coal hopper (the view was obscured, but there was a string of loaded hoppers extending back along Cambridge St.) There was neither smoke nor steam visible.
My scanner was OOS, so couldn't hear P&W and don't have WFD programmed. Did anybody hear if Worcester FD was having a drill or if there had something cooking earlier?
