It was around 9:13Pm when the train passed through the Stamford station last night.. I know it's very rare I've only seen them twice so far and only once a year but do they have to run at a lower speed then passenger trains?

Funny I thought about bringing the scanner out yesterday too :-/

All frieght trains run at reduced speeds. The track speed for a freight train through Stamford is 20 MPH. The maximun speed anywhere in MN teritory for a freight train is 50 MPH, which is on the upper Hudson line from MP 55.0 to CP61 and CP 64 to MP 71.0
