A track gang has been working the line near Greg's packing in Worcester this week, right near the I-190/I-290 interchange.

Here: http://goo.gl/maps/GnW4W" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. That's on the P&W-owned, shared-rights portion of the Gardner Branch between Worcester Union Station and the Barbers Jct. split with PAR's Worcester Branch. This is a tri-track section. Easterly track runs half-mile but only ties in at its north end while just fizzing out in the ballast at the south end without a reconnection. Westerly track abutting Greg's same half-mile length but only ties in at the south end and doesn't reconnect at the north end. Maybe they're finally making contiguous passing/storage sidings out of one or more of these. All it takes is installing the missing switches.
