Distance is around 900 k.m. $94 per teu seems a reasonable charge to me. Clearly road transport is not paying its fair share towards the upkeep of the roads.
I would have thought that rail could get 20% of thus market. Not 1%.

I would prefer investment to increase time competitiveness, as likely to end up moving more freight to rail.
