Great Western Railway electrified line goes live

When - if - this project is completed I hope there will be an assessment of how long it has taken, and how much more it has cost than originally estimated. The omission of the route to Oxford is a serious defect. It means that only dual fuel trains will be able to travel to Oxford, and electrification should have been extended all the way to Coventry.
