Gentlemen,

As I have stated in a earlier in 1 of 2 posts(possibly), about the lack of contact information via email and the website being OH-HUM (yawn) and business like. last and important item their now new website is definitely a very nice improvement over their interim website! Opinions are welcome and let us try to keep it constructive ...

Not bad- it's loud and broadcasts the message loud and clear: come and ride the train! The site is full of good info for those wishing to visit. Some things in the design and choice of color and font are a little clumsy. Some of the layouts are a little cluttered... but hey, it's a tourist railroad!

Has the A & A been notified of this error in order to correct their mistake.

One man's "error" is another man's cherished design! I didn't see any factual errors or broken links- a family visiting this site will get all the info they need to make their trip on the A&A. I mean, I could give some suggestions on how I would improve the design... but I don't know how much weight my unsolicited remarks would carry.

Agreed, Otto. For me, it's a bigger problem that there are numerous typos evident.

Wow, that site certainly is different and new. I like it a lot better than the past one. I hope it helps them drum up interest and support and... customers. :P

Kind of like a theme of what is old is new.

Indeed Otto. I'll give 'er a shot. I'm really not meaning to be nasty by saying there are typos.

I agree also with all of you gentlemen, however we also should remind ourselves that the ARCADE AND ATTICA RR is a freight hauling rail line as well and interchanges with other rail lines B & P RR and other railroads and that's their link to the outside whelm(world). At this time I am will not dispute with any of you over ARCADE & ATTICA's tourist trade, however, I'll say this it's a nice little 15 mile rail line !

I agree the web site heavily promotes the tourist aspect and does not mention the freight at all. Perhaps the railroad would consider operating a second web site "ArcadeFreight" or something to just push their freight services separate from the tourist trade. Kind of like the South Shore...

(okay not exactly the same... but you get the idea)
