Based on what I see in Historic Aerials this was at 6 Sand St. 2003 shot shows what appears to be that cluster of buildings in your photo, the station with additions on each side of it. 2006 shows appears the middle section, this station, burned to the ground. By 2008 it's all been demolished and replaced with the current hardware business.

A search of Jefferson County tax indicates the current structure was built in 2008 which seems to support this theory.
