Anybody else see the military move on CSX this morning? I saw a glimpse as I got on 490 West, and then barely beat it to Churchville. I don't know enough about the army to say for sure but I'd speculate it was some sort of construction battalion. In addition to all sorts of trucks, trailers, and I believe some artillery, it has several cars of backhoes, dozers, etc. A long train for sure. Very impressive to see our troops (or at least their equipment) moving by rail.

Based on police radio traffic (crossing issue), I'd say that there was activity on Fort Drum within the past few days, so that may have been the origin of the train.
