We know that there are on-going track maintenance...I sure HOPE that would hold K01002 up for a bit so I can get out of work at noon... But my chance is slim... Also we know that crude and ethonal trains parked at frontier for a while in past... Will that happens with today's K01002? if so, for how long??

NS 8100 leading K010-02 will probably get held in Buffalo.
There is a K010-01 running about 2 hours ahead of the K010-02.
My understanding is that Albany can ony handle one oil train about every 12 hours.

As of now, NS heritage 8100 is possibly, if not, may be pulling out of the railyard. Should be here in Rochester NY at around 5, Last report I saw on HU was that the 8100 was not leading? Someone probably didn't get there information right. Cause it was leading the train from Illinois. But oh well still coming. It may return westward on train K011. The K010-01 is long gone. By now it should be in Rome NY. Don't know when the power on that train is returning.

8100 is In the lead. I have a shot from a friend and for some reason it's moving slow just by Corfu MP 418 at 1430

I think someone was playing games with that report about the power getting wyed.

"Okay I wonder why its moving slowly"

He was moving slowly because he has 13k tons on the drawbar, and even with 3 units online, with the uphill pull out of Buffalo, he went over the Lancaster HBD at 27mph. Following alongside on Rte. 33 I can tell you he did 25-30 up to CP-417 then when he got over the top around Corfu he took right off. Should be approaching Rochester; Amtk 64 was first eastbound ahead of him

Was moving around 30 mph all the way to Corfu. It picked up speed after Corfu.

And I got it again in churchville and was at highball in 8. I got ahead of it again on 490 after churchville. But got caught in detour on 490. It paced w me under 50..

Right now it is stopped in city for some reason...

Thanks to all who provided accurate information here and on the Heritage Units website. Despite being detoured by a huge fire on Main Street in Palmyra, I made it to Division Street with plenty of time to spare.

Nice job! Glad someone got it.
I got to see the train go by behind my workplace at about 4:12pm.
Should have brought my camera to work and took an hour or so off this afternoon.
