-Friday, May 29th's NS 39G had Operation Lifesaver Dash 9 #9254 in a mid-train DPU. Behind #9254 was a rebuilt SD70ACC #1826.

Nice and shiny, although the plow and steps are already a little dinged up.

Thanks for sharing, Ben.

Thank you Glenn!

Railroad Picture Archives seems to be working properly again, so here are my other two photos of the Operation Lifesaver Dash 9 #9254 from yesterday.

Having occurred along the Delair Branch in Philadelphia, CA-15 (NS 38G) derailed just west of the G Street overpass on Thursday, June 25th, while headed for Camden. Although all of the derailed cars remained upright, there was significant damage to a portion of the line.

I stopped on the G Street overpass this afternoon on my way into work and snapped a few photos of the ongoing track repair work.

On the opposite side of the overpass, the four NS road units off of 38G were being used to remove the re-railed cars.

What a mess. I wonder if it somehow picked that switch.

Gonna be in South Jersey this Friday, in the Vineland/Millville/Bridgeton area. Not sure yet how much time I'm going to have for rail-related activities, but is there any predictable schedule for ops on the W&W, SRNJ and CSAO Vineland/Beesley's Pt these days? Any information would be much appreciated. TIA and stay safe!

Hello and welcome to the latest South Jersey Trains video! It's jam packed with almost an hour and a half of railroad action from short line to main line. Some of the highlights include SMS action at Pureland Industrial Park as they utilize their growing fleet of B23-7s to work around the park, the Winchester and Western heading into Millville, and the Delaware-Lackawanna working around Scranton with the last ALCO Century 636 in existence. Other specials include the Canadian Pacific "Air Force" unit and an increasingly rare CSX SD70MAC. Hope you enjoy the movie and if you haven't done so already, please subscribe!

One of SMS Lines' newest locomotives was working the SMS/CSAO interchange on Monday (8/3) morning. B23-7 #1961, which was built for Conrail in 1978, and acquired early this year from the Delaware Coastline Railroad, looked great in her fresh coat of paint as she shifted freight cars back and forth along the various sidings.

A beat-up and dirty looking Illinois Terminal Heritage was the trailing DPU on YPCA-15 (NS 39G) Wednesday (8/26) morning, departing Pavonia Yard:

Looks like it's been following an old ALCO.

Would anyone on here happen to know how often CA51 goes down to Tuckahoe? Or is it only as needed?

I believe it is on an as needed basis. To drop off, or pick up cars for storage.
