railroad conventions of the Atlantic City

What years did Atlantic City have railroad conventions ? Who ran them? And what year was the last?

It was called the Annual Convention of the American Railway Master Mechanics' Association and from what I can gather ran from 1883 to 1923 . That is only the references I could find,there are many annual reports of the Association Convention in paperback from on Amazon. Not much help I'm afraid although it's something.

Then there must have been another event as recall seeing photos of new diesels on display at one of them - late 1940s or early 1950s. I thought it was a one time thing though.
