Thanks Bob.

This engine has been on the BDRV roster since 2007, and has spent its entire time at Kinder Morgan in Fairless Hills. Supposedly 1856 is on short term lease to the W&W who has both divisions running full bore and are a bit power short. BDRV sold 1848 to the W&W at the end of 2010, but I hear the shops at Bridgeton do not have enough time to restore the unit at the present time.

In the next week or so look for BDRV GP9u 1889 (ex CP #1689) to pass through the area on its way from Buffalo to Newport News, VA

Nice catch, Bob; glad to see she still has her Blue on, and thanks for the current details, Wolf.
Here she is working hard in Allentown back in the early '90s.....

BDRV GP9U 1889 has arrived on NS at Binghamton NY. 1889 is a former CP / TH&B unit. Should venture thru Allentown to Philadelphia in the next day or two.
BDRV 908 should also be moving south shortly.

Looks like BDRV 1889 will take the senic route to Philly. NS 18G to Oak Island then Q301 to Philly, then Q405 to Richmond.
