cool, so the other customers you mentioned earlier are
the customers on the pvl ? the line
that runs behind the lowes along route 17...
i barely ever see trains on there....
does that train come outta croxton as one whole train
or do they break those cars off a bergen/main train ?

When the 32a comes in the train is blocked already the H82 does what we call the croxton drill. Track 1 is suffern and campbell hall cars. Track 5 is BC line cars and Track 7 is PV line cars. Our engine is left near woodridge station. We go in the yard 2-3 times a week depending on how many cars come in. I am going into the yard tomorrow morning to drop off my empties and pick up whatever loads I got in there, its been quiet the past week or so I ain't complaining...lol

bano, thanks for all this info. Looking at google earth. Trying to see if i can find the customers in south hackensack. Found 1 past ford.

As for the scanner, i have a radio shack brand i got for my bday last year and just got a roof mount antenna. Works pretty good. But im planning on picking up a window mount.

I haven't paid attention to this area in a while, so help me catch up please.

H-07 started as a Corning, NY drill but is now a job based in NJ

H-82 is a local based at Wood Ridge (but not listed on NS)
H-80 & H-81 are Croxton locals.

32A is also not listed on the freight list I have, which is not current.

32A is a road freight from Allentown.

H07 Croxton local to Suffern and Campbell Hall, NY
H81 Croxton local starts by woodridge station
H82 Croxton Local starts at croxton
H80 Croxton Local starts at croxton

On Friday, while travelling south on the NY Thruway, I saw a train headed north (railroad east) at about 3:55 p.m. through Arden, NY. While I didn't see the numbers from my passenger seat, the engine types were NS D9-40CW, BNSF D9-44CW & NS D9-40CW. Was this the HO7?
