NS502 headed to the Beesley's Point generating station derailed its' lead unit, NS 6934, on the afternoon of January 25. Build up of ice in the flangeways of a private crossing east of Tuckahoe Road seems to be the culprit and the two trailing units and all 90 cars remained on the rails. Train was blocking Tuckahoe Roads for several hours, eventually shoved back from the crossing.

EDIT: As of 2:47 on Sunday, 1/26, 6934 is reported to be back on the rails and coupled to the other locos with all units online. Other than a torn up plow, it appears that damage was minimal, likely due to the low speed of the train (10 mph) at the time of the derailment.
