No problem, it really depends some days you will see it at 6am or earlier! Sometimes there is also an M8G.

What's the deal now with railfanning in South Plainfield across from Sherbans in that rocky lot alongside the siding? As there is a no parking sign along with some concrete barricades along the ROW. It's not like there's a large amount of railfans parked there blocking the lot, what gives?
Or is this Another railfan spot gone? HMMMM Maybe they should install a toll booth!!! :P :P

Simple. Too many puppets kept parking right up against the tracks and it was causing the people that worked at the business to constantly swerve to get around so the owner got POed and blocked it off! He's been out there telling people time and time again to park over by the grass and trees where they WON'T block his road and of course none of these idiots can listen so the owner had it.

Yeah,This reminds me of the super buzy firebrick factory (Yeah Right) that USED to be right next to Potter http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_S2NbJIwrsZc/R ... hed-02.jpg, in fact they were so buzy they had to put used cars out in front for sale and used to yell at the railfans there too as they were blocking the view of the Jalopys!! But A little lost here, grass and trees? Don't see any nearby here: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=2051762
Where do you mean would be a better parking with the same capability for good long shots? Maybe across the street:

But I thought this was a railroad lot and no tresspassing here?
BTW, Can someone get a picture of the boxcar right next to here out in back the feedstore, just don't block the driveway!!!! :P :P

They do not mind if you are there as long as you are not in the way. Park up against the building and gasp! walk up to take a photo of the train. I know this is a hard concept for some.

If you sit there for a few hours you should get a few CSX movements.. If your looking for westbounds I don't know how many NS you will see...May not be much!

How are Sat evenings and Sun mornings for frequency of freights? From afar it looks like 0700-1200 and 1600-2100 seem to be the hottest.....
