With the advent of Covid 19 more people are staying at home. This has been enabling crews on the highways and roads to continue working and get things done faster and even according to NBC 4 the L Subway Train Tunnel reconstruction project to renovate the tunnel due to Hurricane Sandy Damage has been completed and will start running tomorrow apparently much earlier and millions under budget also according to NBC 4.

What railroad projects are being worked on now in NJ for NJT and freight railroads and which railroad projects are ready to start up soon?

The main item I am aware of is an accelerated catch-up on PTC implementation and training. I don't know of any construction projects being accelerated. If anything NJ's clampdown on activity was so severe that construction might have been delayed.

Very dim light. $55 million allocated for a $1.6 billion cost. None the less, at least it is moving forward.

The 1015 article states the bridge gets stuck in the up position. Guess the reporter didn't see the picture is his own article. It's a swing bridge!
