Hi Railfans, Anybody got any info regarding the 0-6-0 & tender that is sitting in the lot between the old station & the NECR in Palmer, Ma. ?
I havent been to Palmer for about 6 months, went last saturday night,and dont remember seeing it there before. DId it come from an old Industrial or private co? It just says "Porter" on it and I think the road # was 102.
Its lit up at night, (lightbulb in cab) sign says "Look, no climbing" and there also seems to have been some recent improvement activity with the old stationhouse.
If anyone has any more info that I have here, it would be appreciated.
I have always said that they should open up some kind of a small restaurant (and hobby shop
) there and make a few bucks off us railfans.
