Since she ran on same ticket she will probably continuo the policy taken by Rowland, things don't change overnight.
but her term will not be very long, and if the voters are smart they wiil see trough the bulls**t next election. but what does this have to do with Amtrak, CT does not set Amtrak policy.

Tell that to David Gunn. The relationship between Amtrak and Connecticut is not good.

--I was at a presentation for Gunn in March, and he made a snide comment "Connecticut THINKS they own the track between New Rochelle and New Haven."

--Only three tracks in many spots, instead of four.

--I have been on Amtrak stuck behind 30-year MTN locals--which should have been retired 10 years ago.

--NYP-Phila (Acela): 91 miles, 1:12 (with two two additional stops in BTW)
NYP-NH (Acela): 75 miles, 1:26 (with one additional stop in BTW)

--Only now, after the horrible time with the ancient cars in Jan and Feb, are they rush ordering new cars. LIRR and MTN (NY part) have newer cars, much due to CT foot dragging.

well MNCR and Conndot DO own the track from CP216 to New Haven and even David Gunn can't do anything about it.
