I'm trying to identify this caboose and coach that are stored behind the post office in Shannock, Rhode Island. They don't have any identifying marks, and an internet search reveals nothing other than that this old diner is adjacent.
small world...I took a look at the link and the diner in the photo. It notes that it was on Foster Street in Peabody, MA . If it is the one that I remember, it was called the Red Rambler diner and was quite busy during the 1960s at the height of the leather industry at that time. It was surrounded by leather factories and a trucking terminal. I tried to find an old listing to confirm the name, but no luck.
