I've been seeing a lot of work being done to the old B&M line from whitefield to littleton, NH. I've heard that trains were going to be back in the news and now I see they are starting to brush cut from the rail trail head in Littleton towards whitefield. So I don't know if this is a rail trail or rail service will come back.

Given the info at the top of page 2, it'd be more probable that the loose ends have been tied up, and this is being cleared so that they can pull the rails. If trains were coming back, all the crossing lights missing on 116 would have been replaced.

What I was thinking since the NHCR lease is from bethlehem to Whitefield, the brush cut from Whitefield to Bethlehem and after that they skiped to Littleton to make a rail trail
