Are there still any trains that run down the line into Winchester and beyond? I have heard that a rock train services the Caremuse plant in Middleton, does anybody have info on that/other trains on that sub? Also, is that line signaled in any places besides Harpers Ferry? Thanks!

They run all the way to the end of track at Strasburg Jct. Not sure how many days a week. There is an Agmark feed mill there. There is also a big LP gas facility at Stephens City that is a big customer. No signals on the line after Harpers Ferry.

Shenandoah Sub is Dark Track Warrant territory from Harpers Ferry to the end of the line. There is a daily local that does the 'heavy hauling' between Winchester and Brunswick. There are several locals that originate at Winchester and service the industries of the surrounding area as far West as the end of track and as far East as necessary. The Rock Runner originates at Brunswick, goes to Millville Quarry to get their loaded train and take it to Bladensburg, returning from Bladensburg with empties and placing them at Millville Quarry for loading, returning the light power to Brunswick.
