Anyone keep a current list of what Alco/ MLW power is still running in Canada? I understand a couple of sales transaction recently took place.
My other question is related to the Cartier. What MLW power is still running since the railroad aquired more GE's this year?

Thanks

I don't know about Cartier, but as far as I know, at least three MLW are still running in Quebec:

- Orford Express 26, an M-420TR used by that scenic railroad out of Sherbrooke,
- Lanaudiere Railway 114, an S-13 used as a switcher by Bell Gas in St.Felix-de-Valois,
- An RS-23 switcher used by CAD in their yard at Lachine, near Montreal.

It was sold to Rail Road Power Leasing (RRPX) a long time ago.. February? I believe... but it didn't move from the shops in Toronto until July or so, needed trucks to move on ;)
